Victorian Floor Restoration

Have you ever lifted the carpet in the hallway of your house and found an old victorian tiled floor underneath.  The floor is covered in grime, paint splashes, adhesive, vinyl floor covering and general muck and dirt.  Many people look at the floor and think that it is beyond repair.

This is the situation Sam found herself in when she was carrying out a refurbishment of her Bed and Breakfast in Betws-y-Coed and decided to remove the carpet in the hallway.  Sam wanted to bring back the character of the building, but the floor was in a poor state, so she contact Kevin to see what could be done.   The results can be seen below.

This section of the floor had adhesive tape stuck to the floor, several layers of paint along the edges where the skirting boards had been painted and they had decided to paint the floor as well !!
